Discover Engineering Day

Industry Roundtable

A new event for FY09, the industry roundtable will provide tech leaders in the Treasure Valley a chance to discuss topics relevant to women in engineering.

Science Olympiad

The Science Olympiad puts science and engineering into a competitive team environment. It has inspired many students to pursue careers in science and engineering. Activities include Rockets, Rube Goldberg machines, Robots, Catapults, Destructive testing of bridges and towers, and Airplanes.

Each year, SW-Idaho SWE hosts an activity, providing volunteers to organize in advance of the event and to administer the activity.

JCon '09 - Entrepreneurship: Inventing Your Own Path

This year's SWE Region J conference is a great opportunity to meet other women engineers in the Northwest U.S. and immerse yourself in Seattle's entrepreneurial culture.
